Mama Dorcus Children Center — Programs & Development Priorities
Mama Dorcus Children Center is committed to improving the well-being and future of vulnerable children and communities through Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), education support, and community development initiatives.

WASH Programs — Kitui County
We are implementing a comprehensive water-access program aimed at improving access to safe and reliable water for communities, schools, and local trading centres.
Target : Construction of 25 Earth Dams
Estimated Budget: Ksh. 225,000,000
The earth dams will help communities access water for domestic use, livestock, agriculture, and other essential needs, while strengthening resilience during periods of drought.
Drilling of 7 Boreholes
Locations: Schools and areas near shopping centres
The boreholes will provide reliable access to clean and safe water for students, families, and surrounding communities.
Estimated Budget: Ksh. 28,000,000

Scholarships for Needy Children
Mama Dorcus Children Centre is committed to ensuring that vulnerable children are not denied education because of financial hardship. Your support helps provide school fees, learning materials, meals, and essential care to children in need. Together, we can give every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
Scholarship Target: 200 needy children
Estimated School Fees Budget: Ksh. 4,500,000
The scholarship program will support children from disadvantaged and vulnerable families by helping meet their school-fee needs and reducing the financial barriers that often prevent them from continuing their education.
Through this support, children will have the opportunity to remain in school, pursue their dreams, develop their potential, and build a brighter and more secure future.
